Fine Dining in Aalborg
Fine dining at our restaurant is an entire evening experience: multiple courses, paired wines, and a service that takes its time. We’re located on the Limfjord and are open Tuesday through Saturday starting at 5 p.m.

What the evening has in store
We start with three appetizers that the whole table chooses together. This is followed by four to eight courses from the seasonal menu, which changes throughout the year. For each menu, you can choose a wine pairing, with glasses selected to complement the dishes. If you’d like the most comprehensive experience, we serve omakase at the bar—a 23- to 25-course meal where the chef makes the selections and the ocean is the focal point.

Practical Information You'll Want to Know in Advance
A seasonal menu typically takes two to three hours. Omakase takes longer because the courses are served one at a time from the bar. We have no dress code, but most guests dress nicely, and the dining room has a calm, modern atmosphere. We’re happy to accommodate allergies and guests who don’t eat meat or fish, as long as we’re notified at the time of booking. We recommend booking in advance, especially for weekends and for omakase, where there are only a few seats at the bar each evening.

Fine dining, gourmet, and omakase
These three terms are often used interchangeably. For us, “fine dining” refers to the setting and the service: the table, the pace, the wine, and the service. “Gourmet” is about the food and the kitchen’s ambition. Omakase is a dining experience where you give the chef free rein and sit at the bar. You can enjoy all three experiences at our restaurant, but they’re three different kinds of evenings, so it’s worth deciding in advance which one you’re looking for.
The Kitchen Behind the Scenes
We opened in 2010, and the name describes what we do. French techniques form the foundation, with Japanese and other Asian flavors layered on top. Our ingredients come primarily from Danish waters and Danish producers. That’s why the menu changes throughout the year, and why it never looks the same twice.
For two or more
Our restaurant can seat 110 guests, and we also have a banquet hall that accommodates 80 people and an atrium that seats 300. This means we can prepare the same meal for a couple on their wedding day as we can for a company bringing together an entire department. Write to [email protected], if there are more than 20 of you.
You can find us at Strandvejen 4, 1st floor, 9000 Aalborg, with parking available in the harbor area. Book a table online or call 35 12 33 31, and we’ll find the perfect evening for you.
