How to Dine with Us
Our menu consists of three courses that you can mix and match as you like. The seasonal menu features four to eight dishes and begins with three appetizers that the entire table chooses together. The à la carte menu lets you put together your own dinner. Our sushi is prepared at the restaurant’s bar, where you can watch the chef at work up close. We also offer light dishes for those who prefer a smaller meal, and a wine list curated to complement the cuisine rather than the other way around. Expect to spend about two hours at the table if you’re dining à la carte, and the entire evening if you choose the seasonal menu.
The Kitchen
Fusion opened in 2010, and the name describes what we do. We use French techniques as a foundation and layer Japanese and other Asian flavors on top. Our ingredients come primarily from Danish waters and Danish producers, supplemented by items we source from Asia when the season calls for it. The dishes change with the seasons, so the menu never looks exactly the same twice in a year. If you have allergies or do not eat meat or fish, our kitchen will adapt the menu accordingly when we’re notified at the time of booking.

The Frames by the Water
We have large windows overlooking the fjord, soft lighting, and an open, lounge-style layout. The tables at the bar are the most sought-after because they’re right across from the kitchen. The restaurant seats up to 110 guests, and we have both a banquet hall for 80 people and an atrium that seats 300, should you be a larger group. The restaurant is located on the ground floor with level access from the street.
Practical Information
We’re open Tuesday through Saturday from 5 p.m. to midnight and are closed on Sundays and Mondays. Takeout orders can be picked up Tuesday through Saturday from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. On Saturdays in odd-numbered weeks, we serve a lunch buffet from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. for 295 DKK for adults and 195 DKK for children under 10. You’ll find us at Strandvejen 4, st. tv., 9000 Aalborg, with parking in the harbor area and within walking distance of Musikkens Hus, the Utzon Center, and downtown Aalborg.

We welcome walk-in guests when space is available, but we recommend making a reservation, especially on Fridays and Saturdays, when we’re often fully booked.
